Eland Depot Park
The restored Eland Depot is a historical museum that showcases railroad memorabilia and history of the local community. Along with the museum, there is also approximately 1700 feet of railway with 3 small working train engines for rides and display. The restored 1900’s Eland Fire truck is under display in the Eland Round house located near the depot.
The depot can be opened for viewing with advance notice or during the Eland Day celebration that is typically the 2nd Saturday in August. More information about Eland Day can be found on the Events page.
The Eland Area Historical Society maintains and is actively restoring the depot and equipment. If looking to donate any memorabilia to the Museum, or want to volunteer to help with future projects, please contact the Historical Society President Scott Ekern. Look for scheduled workdays in the summer leading up to the Eland Day Celebration.
